10:00 AM to 12:00 noon via Zoom

The Inglewood Transit Connector (ITC) Project is an approximately 1.6 mile fully elevated fixed guideway, electrically-powered transit system with three new stations in the City of Inglewood. A joint powers authority between Metro, Inglewood, and Los Angeles County, the purpose is to enable car-free access while reducing traffic and equitably boosting the economy. It will connect the first and last mile between the Metro K line and Inglewood ’s sports and entertainment venues as well as homes and job centers within a half mile of its three stations. The new Market St. & Florence  Ave. Station will provide access to and from the Metro K line and the rest of the regional light rail network; the Prairie Ave. & Manchester Blvd. Station to the Kia Forum and SoFi Stadium; and the Prairie Ave. and Hardy St. Station to SoFi Stadium, Hollywood Park, and Intuit Dome, the future home of the Los Angeles Clippers. Construction is slated to begin in 2025, and will bring 17,000 jobs, supporting more than $800 million in labor income regionally. Once completed, the SCPC will host a future onsite tour of the ITC system.
Lisa Trifiletti, ITC Project Manager, will provide an overview. An expert in the field, she has over 20 years of experience in managing complex public infrastructure and transportation projects. She has led the Project’s planning, entitlements, and program management, securing almost $2 billion in local, state, and federal transit funding.
