Each year, the California State Legislature enacts new planning and related laws. Join us for our annual Legislative Update, geared to provide a practical summary on some of the new changes in California planning law, how some of these laws and related legislation came about, and what is in the works for 2010.
Our guest speakers will be David Snow (AICP) and Vince Bertoni (AICP). Mr. Snow is a shareholder in the Public Law Department at Richards, Watson & Gerson. Mr. Bertoni is the Deputy Director for the Department of City Planning of the City of Los Angeles.
The event will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Taix’s French Restaurant (1911 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, Ca 90026). The social begins at 6:30 pm and dinner begins at 7:00 pm. The menu for the evening is a choice of Pot Roast of Beef, Filet of Sole, Boneless Breast of Chicken or a Vegetarian option upon request. All meals include soup du jour, garden salad, fresh vegetables, rice or potatoes, sherbet, and coffee or tea.
Prices are as follows: $30 for member, $35 for non-member and $25 for students (w/ valid student ID).
